Position Information:

Boone County Family Resources is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Community Resource Specialist. Community Resource Specialists play a vital role in helping individuals with developmental disabilities locate and access the support and resources they need to reach their personal goals. This position is responsible for assessing needs, developing action plans, and connecting individuals to community resources.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
  • Reliable access to an insured and properly maintained vehicle for travel is essential to the position.
  • A valid driver’s license

Schedule:

Community Resource Specialists work a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday. Occasional evening or weekend hours may be needed. Once an introductory period is successfully completed, Community Resource Specialists may have the opportunity to work a base schedule with some remote hours.

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary: Starting at $20/hour. Eligible for merit-based raises at 6 months, 1 year, and annually thereafter.
