We take pride in fostering a friendly, welcoming, and vibrant work environment. We are currently seeking a reliable and organized individual to join our team as an Accounting Manager.

As our Accounting Manager, you will perform a variety of financial and supervisory duties. The ideal candidate is highly organized with an eye for detail, possesses excellent communication skills, possesses proficient Excel skills, and has the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Position Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the agency's accounting processes to ensure accurate and efficient financial operations.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze monthly financial statements in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
  • Monitor and evaluate accounting processes for compliance with established standards and recommend improvements to maintain quality practices.
  • Directly supervise the Accounts Payable Specialist, Accounts Receivable Specialist, Service Procurement Specialists, and Accounting Assistant.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration from an accredited college or university and at least two years accounting-related experience
  • Have a valid driver’s license and operate vehicles in the course of Agency business in compliance with Missouri motor vehicle laws.
  • Have experience and knowledge of finance, budgeting, and accounting, including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
